What would you do to go after your dreams and passions?

In the movie Breaking Legs, directed by Mark Marchillo and produced by Micah Brandt, a young teenaged girl, Bloom, is enamored with dance. When she moves to a new town and new high school, all she wants to do is dance. It tells the story of her trying out for the dance team.

What makes this movie unique is that all the high school students are played by actual high school students! Typically, these roles are played by actors in their twenties. Just like Bloom in the film, these young actors are going after their passions with wild abandonment and learning adult lessons in the process. Like Bloom, pursuing their passions leads to growth.

Don’t miss Dr. Shelley Plumb’s interview with the entire cast where she meets the kids, the teachers, and the writer and producer of Breaking Legs at the Palm Beach Film Festival.
